Homo Drosophila was a costume sound performance by Sarah Leimcke and Jens Vetter. The project evolved around a video work Sarah Leimcke made during her studies, in which she created masks, costumes and installations to transform humans to insects.
In the subsequent collaborations, Leimcke and Vetter started the performative artist group Gruppe Schleife. Jens Vetter started to perform in Leimcke's environments and started to design and use his own musical instruments.
