With a focus on electronic and experimental music, Jens Vetter blends live-electronics with synth-driven club music and sound art. His focus is on improvised compositions, generating sonic material in real time, manipulating sequences live, layering textures, and responding spontaneously. He is inspired both by techno and club culture, as well as by experimental sound art and sonic media art practices. He often uses novel interfaces alongside traditional synthesizers and samplers, such as the live-coding platform Welle or tangible musical interfaces.
Vetter has collaborated with artists and musicians including Sarah Leimcke, Marten Schech, Patrik Huber, and Stefan Tiefengraber, and has composed soundtracks for works by Elisa Unger, Leanne Rivers, and others.
