Kabelsalat

Kabelsalat is an interactive sound-sculpture consisting of old network cables that are revived as a musical interface. The sound installation works like a Low-Fi-Theremin - by touching and pressing the cables electronic sounds can be generated and manipulated.

The project was commissioned by qujOchÖ for Linzbased #3: Verena Kroupa & Jens Vetter

The firmware uses the Skweezee library by e-Media research lab. Thanks to Bert Vandenberghe.
